Vespula germanica (Fabricius, 1793)

Material Examined: PAKISTAN: Punjab: Rawalpindi, 25.iv.06, Leg. Altaf, ♀; Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa: Chitral, 20.vi.08, Leg. A. Zia, 3♀; Hunza, 25.vi.06, Leg. Ishaque, ♀; Gilgit-Baltistan: Gilgit: Phander Lake, 11.vi.08, Leg. Anjum, ♀; (EX. NIM).

Remarks: Chaudhry et al. (1966) reported this species from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa: Swat and Kalam. (Dvořák (2007) reported it from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa: Chitral Bamboret valley: Brun, Baluchistan: Ziarat. Mahmood et al. (2012) reported it from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa: Dir, Swat, Chitral, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Baluchistan: Ziarat, Kalat, Gilgit-Baltistan: Daimer, Chillas, Gulmit, Khyber, Khuramabad, Shish kot, Gulkin, Passu, Aliabad, Nagar, Denor, Sost, Misger. Shah (2015) reported it from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa: Abbottabad, Havelian, Ayubia; Mansehra, Balakot and Baffa. Faiz et al. (2016) reported this species from Gilgit-Baltistan: Ghizer, Skardu and Gilgit.
