Genus UROPHORA Robineau-Desvoidy

Urophora Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830: 769. Type species: Musca cardui Linnaeus, 1758, by subsequent designation (Westwood 1840: 149).

Euribia Meigen, 1800: 36. Type species: Musca cardui Linnaeus,1758, by subsequent designation (Hendel 1927a: 37). (Suppressed by I.C.Z.N. 1963: 339, opinion 687).

Carpomya Rondani, 1856:111. Type species: Musca arctii De Geer, 1776 (= Musca solstitialis Linnaeus, 1758), original designation. (Preoccupied by Costa 1854).

Euibia Foote, 1984: 140. Misspelling of Euribia Meigen, attributed to “authors”.
