Staurotheca sp. (*)

Selaginopsis pachyclada — Briggs, 1938: 37.

Remarks. The material referred to Selaginopsis pachyclada by Briggs (1938) does not belong to this species. According to Peña Cantero & Vervoort (2003), it could represent a new species.

Ecology and distribution. The material studied by Briggs (1938) was collected at depths between 518 and 540 m, at 66°52’S–145°30’E, off Mertz Glacier.
