Halecium jaederholmi Vervoort, 1972

Material examined. ANT XV/3: 48-77, one colony, c. 100 mm high; ANT XVII/3: 111-5, one colony, c. 45 mm high; ANT XXI/2: PS65/248, one colony, c. 40 mm high, on bryozoan.
Ecology and distribution. Previously reported at depths between 24 (Vervoort 1972a) and 950 m (Peña Cantero in press); present material from 65 to 360 m. A probable Pan-Antarctic species (Peña Cantero 2014b).
