Symplectoscyphus frigidus Peña Cantero, Svoboda & Vervoort, 2002

Material examined. ANT XXI/2: PS65/166, few stems, up to 15 mm high.
Ecology and distribution. Previously documented at depths from 86 [Broch 1948, as Sertularella (Symplectoscyphus) glacialis] to 402 m (Peña Cantero et al. 2002); present material collected between 253 and 338 m. West-Antarctic distribution (Peña Cantero et al. 2002).
