Examined material. 1 an. and 7 sh. (MACN-In 40696).

Description. Shell height to 13 mm; ovate-fusiform, moderately solid. Protoconch large, somewhat translucent, smooth, of 1.5 bulbous whorls. Teleoconch with up to 3.5 whorls, markedly convex in outline; last whorl comprising about 80% of total shell height. Suture deep, impressed. Surface white; sculptured with 9 to 12 spiral cords per whorl; last whorl with about 20 additional cords at the base. Aperture ovate, interior white; columella with 2 wide, very low folds, callus narrow, slightly expanded on the base; siphonal canal short, somewhat oblique, wide.
