Distribution: Antarctic and Subantarctic waters on both sides of Scotia Sea; off La Plata River (Uruguay) (Child 1995b, 1997). Uruguayan records: Child (1997): RV Atlantis II, cruise 60, st. 245, referred as 245A). Depth 2707 m.
