Distribution: From isolated localities in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans; off La Plata River (Uruguay) (Child 1982; Raiskii & Turpaeva 2006). Uruguayan records: Child (1982): RV Atlantis II, cruise 60, st. 243. Depth 3815–3822 m.
