Type data: Lectotype female (OUMNH, examined). Subsequent designation: Vivallo (2019 a).

Type locality: Brazil.

Centris rubella Smith, 1854. 372, 373.

Type data: Lectotype female (NHMUK, examined). Subsequent designation: Vivallo (2019 a).

Type locality: Brazil: Pará state: “ Rio Tapajós ”.

Comments: Taxonomic decision for synonymy: Ducke (1910). This species was correctly interpreted by Moure et al. (2007) and Vivallo et al. (2013).
