Description
Pareques sp A.
Rock Croaker. To 30 cm (11.8 in) TL (Robertson and Allen 2002). Isla de Cedros, central Baja California (M.L., unpubl. data), and on the mainland from about Punta Eugenia, central Baja California (Robertson and Allen 2015) to Peru (Allen and Robertson 1994). Depth: 10–35 m (33–115 ft) (Robertson and Allen 2002). Formerly referred to as Pareques viola. Pareques viola occurs as far north as Panama (Robertson and Allen 2002).
