Circumglobal; northern California (40°36’N, 124°50’W) (Personal communication: University of Washington, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture Fish Collection, Seattle, Washington) to southern California (32°42’N, 118°14’W) (Personal communication: Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History Fish Collection, Los Angeles, California); Guerrero, Mexico (17°35.5’N, 101°56.8’W) (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California).
