Nannobrachium gibbsi Zahuranec, 2000.

To 14.9 cm (5.9 in) SL (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California). Primarily tropical North Pacific (Zahuranec 2000); near Isla Guadalupe (29°37.6’N, 117°30’W) (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California). Bathypelagic; depth: depth range poorly documented, perhaps to at least as deep as 4,796 m (15,731 ft) (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California). Considered Lampanyctus gibbsi (Zahuranec, 2000) in Fricke et al. (2020).
