Sudis atrox Rofen 1963
Description
Sudis atrox Rofen, 1963.
To more than 9 cm (3.5 in) SL (Russell in Carpenter and De Angelis 2016). Probably circumglobal (Fricke et al. 2020); western Pacific Ocean north to Ryukyu Islands (Nakabo in Nakabo 2002); at least southern California (32°N) to Chile (Ambrose in Moser 1996). Primarily mesopelagic to bathypelagic; depth: 30–2,250 m (98–7,382 ft) (Moore et al. 2003).
