To 15.2 cm (6 in) SL (Stein 1978). British Columbia (Orr et al. 2019a) to central California (34°43’N, 123°06’W) (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California). Depth: 2,825–4,100 m (9,266–13,448 ft) (min.: Stein 1980; max.: Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California).
