Bathyraja aleutica

Description

Bathyraja aleutica (Gilbert, 1896).

Aleutian Skate. To about 161 cm (63.4 in) TL (Zenger 2004). Chiba Prefecture (35°20.4’N) (Ishihara et al. 2012), Japan to Bering Sea to south-eastern Alaska (Mecklenburg et al. 2002), and northern British Columbia (Love et al. 2005) to central California (36°12’N) (Bradburn et al. 2011). Benthic; depth: 15–1,602 m (49–5,256 ft) (Sheiko and Fedorov 2000).
