Description
Mustelus californicus Gill, 1864.
Gray Smoothhound. To 1.63 m TL (64.25 in) (Miller and Lea 1972). Cape Mendocino, northern California to Mazatlán, Mexico, including Gulf of California (Eschmeyer and Herald 1983), and Isla Guadalupe, central Baja California (Reyes-Bonilla et al. 2010); Peru (Cornejo et al. 2015). Depth: intertidal to 265 m (869 ft) (min.: Carlisle et al. 1960: max.: Weigmann 2016).
