Parmaturus xaniurus

Description

Parmaturus xaniurus (Gilbert, 1892).

Filetail Cat Shark. To 61 cm (24 in) TL (Eschmeyer and Herald 1983). Cape Foulweather, Oregon (47°52’N) (NWFSC-FRAM) to Baja California and Gulf of California (Eschmeyer and Herald 1983). Depth: 88–1,519 m (290–4,982 ft) (min.: Wilkins et al. 1998; max.: Jacobsen Stout et al. 2016).
