Algorithm of Reading

Milena Tsvetkova from Sofia University tested her presentation "reading algorithm". This shows that reading has six phases: perception, understanding the significance, realizing of the meaning,  interpretation, self-transforming and influence on external behavior. The main thesis is that reading is the most difficult to master cultural practice. The second phase is of key importance -understanding when reading. The conclusion is that it is necessary to rethink the concept of reading so that it is adequate to modern technologies.
