Blended Learning in Higher Education: A Bibliometric Study
Description
This article discusses the evolution of blended learning in higher education. A bibliometric study approach is attempted. With the development of technology all around, higher education cannot remain unaffected by it. Technology in conjunction with a raging pandemic led to the use of blended learning all over the globe. As different countries imposed different levels of lockdowns, there was no other option but to impart a significant component of education through online learning. Even before the pandemic, new technologies had encouraged the development of learning models involving technology. e(Julia et al., 2020). The pandemic accelerated this trend. This is a good time to understand how blended learning has evolved over the years and what we can expect in the coming years.
