Holotype ♂ in NHML.

Type host: Lugensa brevirostris (Lesson, 1833).

Chilean host: Halobaena caerulea (Gmelin, 1789).

Chilean locality: Cabo de Hornos [Cape Horn]: Region XII.

Geographic distribution: Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans; Southern Ocean.
