Holotype in ZMHU (see Göllner-Scheiding 1973: 35).

Type host: Larus dominicanus Lichtenstein, 1823.

Geographic distribution: Southern Ocean.

Chilean reference: González-Acuña et al. (2006a).

Remarks: González-Acuña et al. (2006a) did not identify their sample of Quadraceps ornatus to subspecies, but subsequent examination of the specimens proved that they belong to Quadraceps ornatus fuscolaminulatus.
