Bar plots hide the data and therefore dot plots are preferred. The provided R-script (+ example data) can be used to (re)create an animation in which the barplot is 'detonated', showing the underlying data.
The R-script can be used to create an animation from user-supplied data (the current script uses a csv file, with data organized in columns).
