series of homo- and bimetallic trinuclear macrocyclic Schiff base metal complexes, with different transition metal ions such as CuII, NiII and CoII with the titled ligand has been prepared using ethylenediaminebis benzilmonohydrazone NiII complexes as metallo-ligand. The metal complexes have been characterized on the basis of analytical and spectral data, thermal analysis, magnetic and conductivity measurements. Based on the results, tentative structures of the complexes have been proposed. The metallo-ligand as well as the macrocyclic complexes is found to have good antimicrobial activities against the pathogenic fungus Aspergillus niger, Helminthosporium oryzae and Fusarium oxysporium.
