Report on the Needs of Science, Technology and Innovation Policy in Artificial Intelligence, Blue Economy and Cancer

  • 1. Technopolis Group Belgium
  • 2. Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT)

Description

This document provides a framework of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) policy for the IntelComp platform, which will be tested in three domains: artificial intelligence, climate change/blue economy and health/cancer.

We first develop and use a generic STI policy framework to define a list of policy questions. To attain a list for the domains, we then enrich it by:

• Identifying policy needs and barriers of relevant actors (Public Administration and stakeholders) in each domain via three consultation workshops.
• Providing a summary of the European Union policy and regulatory contexts in each domain, through desk research.
