Halecium tenellum Hincks, 1861

Halecium tenellum Hincks, 1861: 252, pl. 6 figs 1–4.― Schuchert, 2001: 84, fig. 70.

Material examined. Stn.9: 21.11.2009, 21 m—numerous sterile stems, 4–5 mm high, epizoic on Sertularella diaphana (Allman, 1885), morphotype 1. Stn.10: 0 2.12.2009, 15–20 m—several sterile colonies, 3–4 mm high, on Thyroscyphus marginatus (Allman, 1877). Stn.11: 30.11.2009, 15–18 m—numerous sterile stems, to 8 mm high, on Sertularella diaphana (Allman, 1885) morphotype 1.

World distribution. Cosmopolitan (Peña Cantero & García Carrascosa 2002).
