Description

Engyophrys sanctilaurentii Jordan & Bollman, 1890.

Speckledtail Flounder. To 20 cm (7.9 in) TL (Hensley in Fischer et al. 1995). North of La Jolla Submarine Canyon, southern California (Allen and Groce 2001b) to Bahía Salinas, Huacho, Peru (Chirichigno 1974), including Gulf of California (Hensley in Fischer et al. 1995). Benthic; depth: 15–1,369 m (49–4,490 ft) (min.: Vargas et al. 2020; max.: Morera et al. 20019).
