Tridentiger trigonocephalus
Description
** Tridentiger trigonocephalus (Gill, 1859).
Chameleon Goby. To 12.5 cm (4.9 in) TL (Eric Miller, pers. comm. to M.L.). Native to China, Japan, and Siberia; San Francisco Bay, Los Angeles-Long Beach Harbors (Eschmeyer and Herald 1983), and San Diego Bay (Allen 1997). Benthic; marine, brackish, and fresh waters (Eschmeyer and Herald 1983); depth: intertidal to more than 15 m (49 ft) (Hwang and Lee 1999).
