Stathmonotus sinuscalifornici

Description

Stathmonotus sinuscalifornici (Chabanaud, 1942).

Gulf Worm Blenny or Worm Blenny. To 6.5 cm (2.6 in) TL (Allen and Robertson 1994). Bahía Magdalena, southern Baja California into northern Gulf of California (Hastings and Springer 1994). Reports of this species from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico are doubtful (Hastings and Springer 1994). Depth: 0–6 m (20 ft) (min.: Robertson and Allen 2002; max.: Personal communication: Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History Fish Collection, Los Angeles, California).
