* Xenomedea rhodopyga Rosenblatt & Taylor, 1971.

Redrump Blenny. To 6.5 cm (2.6 in) TL (Allen and Robertson 1994). Cabo San Lucas, southern Baja California into northern Gulf of California (Rosenblatt and Taylor 1971). Depth: surface (nightlight; Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California), 1–33 m (2–100 ft) (Rosenblatt and Taylor 1971).
