Gibbonsia metzi Hubbs, 1927.

Striped Kelpfish. To 23.5 cm (9.3 in) TL (Miller and Lea 1972). Vancouver Island, British Columbia to Punta Rompiente, southern Baja California (Miller and Lea 1972). Benthic; depth: intertidal to 18 m (59 ft) (min.: Eschmeyer and Herald 1983; max.: Personal communication: Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History Fish Collection, Los Angeles, California).
