Description

Dactyloscopus lunaticus Gilbert, 1890.

Moonstruck Stargazer. To 8.5 cm (3.4 in) TL (Robertson and Allen 2002). Punta Tosca, southern Baja California to Ecuador, including Gulf of California (Dawson 1975). Depth: 3–138 m (10–452 ft) (min.: Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California; max.: Dawson 1975).
