Description
Lycodes squamiventer Jensen, 1904.
Scalebelly Eelpout. To 37 cm (14.6 in) TL. Arctic Ocean north of Svalbard; deep slopes of the Barents, Norwegian, and Greenland Seas southward to the Iceland-Faroe-Shetland Slope; Alaska and Canadian Beaufort Seas (from 71°26’N, 151°06’W eastwards to 71°09’N, 134°59’W). Bathybenthic; depth: 160–1,808 m (524–5,930 ft). All in Mecklenburg et al. (2016).
