Description
Lycodes diapterus Gilbert, 1892.
Black Eelpout or Blackfin Eelpout. To 39 cm (15.4 in) TL (DFO). Pacific Ocean side of Vancouver Island (Stevenson and Sheiko 2009) to off San Diego, southern California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California). Benthic; depth: 24–1,472 (79–4,828 ft) (DFO).
