Description
Lycenchelys kolthoffi Jensen, 1904.
Checkered Wolf Eel. To 29 cm (11.4 in) TL (Mecklenburg et al. 2016). Ungava Bay and Hudson Strait, Canada (Møller in Coad and Reist 2018); Greenland to Svalbard and Kara Sea and Alaskan and Canadian Beaufort Sea (as far westward as 70°28’N, 141°09’W) (Mecklenburg et al. 2016). Benthic; depth: 202–930 m (663–3,050 ft) (Møller and Jørgensen 2000).
