Holacanthus clarionensis Gilbert, 1890.
Clarion Angelfish. To 30.3 cm (11.9 in) TL (John Snow, pers. comm. to M.L.). Isla Guadalupe, central Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California); Bahía Magdalena, southern Baja California (Hernández-Velasco et al. 2016), southern tip of Baja California, Isla Clárion (Krupp and Schneider in Fischer et al. 1995), and other offshore islands (Robertson and Allen 2002). Depth: 0–30 m (98 ft) (min.: Robertson and Allen 2002; max.: Allen and Robertson 1994).
