Description
Centropomus medius Günther, 1864.
Blackfin Snook. To 55.8 cm (22 in) TL (Rivas 1986). Bahía Magdalena, southern Baja California (De La Cruz-Agüero et al. 1994) and into Gulf of California (Bussing in Fischer et al. 1995) to northern Peru (Chirichigno and Vélez 1998). Marine, brackish, and fresh waters (Fricke et al. 2020); depth: to 25 m (82 ft) (Robertson and Allen 2002).
