Paraliparis rosaceus Gilbert, 1890.

Pink Snailfish or Rosy Snailfish. To 40 cm (15.7 in) SL (Peden and Ostermann 1980). Sea of Okhotsk off Hokkaido, Japan (Kido 1983); close to Alaska off Dixon Entrance, northern British Columbia (Love et al. 2005) to Isla Guadalupe, central Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California); Gulf of California (Stein 1978); Costa Rica (9°48’N, 85°48’W) (Love et al. 2005). Depth: 878–3,358 m (2,880 –11,017 ft) (min.: Personal communication: Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History Fish Collection, Los Angeles, California; max.: Stein 1978).
