Description
Careproctus scottae Chapman & DeLacy, 1934.
Peachskin Snailfish. To 39 cm (15.4 in) SL. Central and eastern Bering Sea, Aleutian Islands, and southeast Alaska. Depth: at least 71–390 m (233–1,279 ft). All in Orr et al. (2015). Records of “ Careproctus rastrinus ” from the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands are of this species; Careproctus rastrinus is limited to Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk (Orr et al. 2015).
