Anoplagonus inermis

Description

Anoplagonus inermis (Günther, 1860).

Smooth Alligatorfish. To 15 cm (6 in) TL (Hart 1973). Aleutian Islands at Petrel Bank (Mecklenburg et al. 2002) to Point Arena, northern California (Eschmeyer and Herald 1983). Benthic; depth: 2 m (7 ft) or less to 465 m (1,525 ft) (min.: Read 1968; max.: NWFSC-FRAM).
