Porocottus quadrifilis Gill 1859

Description

* Porocottus quadrifilis Gill, 1859.

Gill’s Fringed Sculpin. To about 5.1 cm (2 in) TL. One record; catch locality uncertain, probably Bering Strait but could be either Russian or Alaskan coast. All in Mecklenburg et al. (2002; see pages 405, 484 for discussion of taxonomy and locality problems).
