Description
Poromitra oscitans Ebeling, 1975.
Sluggish Bigscale. To 10.2 cm (4 in) SL (Roberts et al. 2015). Indo-Pacific; western Pacific Ocean north to Japan (Fujii in Masuda et al. 1984); central California to Ecuador (Ebeling 1975). Mesopelagic and bathypelagic; depth: 645 to perhaps 5,320 m (2,116 –17,450 ft) (min.: Roberts et al. 2015; max.: Mundy 2005).
