Anchoa lucida
Description
Anchoa lucida (Jordan & Gilbert, 1882).
Bright Anchovy. To 16 cm (6.3 in) TL (Robertson and Allen 2002). Laguna San Ignacio, southern Baja California (Danemann and De La Cruz-Agüero 1993) to northern Gulf of California (Whitehead and Rodríguez-Sánchez in Fischer et al. 1995) to Puerto Pizarro, northern Peru (Whitehead et al. 1988). Pelagic, nearshore and estuarine (Whitehead et al. 1988); depth: 1–60 m (3–197 ft) (min.: González-Acosta et al. 1999; max.: Amezcua Linares 1996).
