A Falecida – da peça ao filme: um roteiro como meio e caminho entre Nelson Rodrigues e Leon Hirszman

Resumo: O propósito do cinema e da literatura ao olhar o mundo é contar histórias. Um encontro que permite adentrar a vida em seu interior mais intrínseco e cotidiano; uma penetração a fundo em tudo o que existe e, mais ainda, em tudo que ainda não existe. O corpus dessa incursão é a imaginação. No presente artigo, o escopo é perscrutar a trajetória de uma adaptação entre um texto dramatúrgico – no caso, a peça teatral de Nelson Rodrigues intitulada A Falecida – e o filme de Leon Hirszman, de mesmo nome. Neste percurso entre a obra literária e o filme, manifesta-se uma figura intermediária, sem definição clara como gênero: o roteiro. Alguns elementos são enumerados, tais como texto, tempo-espaço, imagens, sons, personagens e relação de fruição, que estão em ambas as linguagens, de modo que se possa analisar as fronteiras tangíveis e intangíveis entre a arte verbal e a mídia visual, por meio do roteiro.

Abstract: The purpose of cinema and of literature when looking at the world is to tell stories. A meeting that allows to enter life in its most intrinsic and everyday interior; a deep penetration in everything that exists and, even more, in everything that does not exist yet. The corpus of this incursion is the imagination. In this article, the objective is to examine the trajectory of an adaptation between a dramaturgical text - in this case, Nelson Rodrigues' theatrical play entitled A Falecida - and the film directed by Leon Hirszman, of the same name. In this course between the literary work and the film, an intermediate figure is manifested, without a clear definition as a genre: the script. Elements such as text, time-space, images, sounds, characters and relationship of enjoyment, which are in both languages, are listed in order to analyze the tangible and intangible boundaries between verbal art and visual media.
