Current status: Pseudopleuronectes schrenki (Schmidt, 1904) (Norman, 1934: 343 in synonymy of Pseudopleuronectes yokohamae)

Syntypes: ZIN 12377a (1) Fort Korsakovsky [Korsakov], 24.05.1901, collector P.Yu.Schmidt; ZIN 12377b (1) west coast of Sakhalin Island, Maoka [Kholmsk], 01.06.1901, collector P.Yu.Schmidt; ZIN 56341 (2) Fort Korsakovsky [Korsakov], 24.05.1901, collector P.Yu.Schmidt.

Remark: the largest and best syntype ZIN 12377a can be designated as lectotype in future revisions.
