The concepts of “spiritual and esoteric tourism” and “creative and developing tourism” are substantiated. The most famous cultural, subcultural and religious traditions that significantly influence the formation of wellness tourism are analyzed. The priority traditions that create the basis for the formation of innovative subspecies of wellness tourism have been identified.
