Search strategy and extraced data for a scoping review on patient-driven innovations

These files are supplementary files for a scoping review that was conducted with the aim to to explore the nature and extent of what is published about patient-driven innovations in peer-reviewed journals. 96 articles were included and the following data from each article was extracted into tables: journal, publication year, first author country of affiliation, publication type, study aim, study design, data and sample size), and on the innovations (name of innovation, name of innovator(s), description of innovation, unmet needs that the innovations aimed to fulfil, and medical condition)
