Description

Frullania toropuku von Konrat, de Lange et Larraín,

Polish Bot. J. 58 (2): 439, 2013 (see von Konrat et al. 2013).

TYPE: “ New Zealand, North Island, Te Paki Ecological Region and District, Te Paki, North Cape Scientific Reserve, “Badlands Area”, In a small Phyllocladus “forest”. Saxi-terricolous —forming a loose crust over serpentine rock and ferrocrete on the margin of a small ephermeral [sic!] stream draining a large area of heavily eroded ferrocrete and bauxite, c. 180 m., 34°24″2′S, 173°1″16′E, 19 Oct. 2009, P. J. de Lange 8038 [Holotype: AK; Isotype: F]”.
