Science allows students to seek knowledge and practice research processes to produce meaningful solution or information that can contribute to the development of the society. This study aims to develop a science learning activity for the senior high school students which integrate learning science skills such as information retrieval, scientific reading, data representation, scientific writing, and knowledge presentation. Descriptive research design was used to obtain information needed in developing innovative learning activities available for the teachers and students. Grade 12 STEM students and Science teachers from 2nd District-Area II of Batangas were the subjects of this study which was chosen through purposive sampling. Data were gathered using survey questionnaire to assess students’ attitudes and interests towards science also it made use of interview to strengthen the gathering and analysis of data. It also compared the responses of students and teachers about the learning activities that integrate the learning science skills. It also determined the pedagogical considerations done by the teachers in developing learning activities. The findings revealed that students’ attitudes and interests depend on the relevance of the content, the teaching strategies used by the teachers, and the opportunity to learn collaboratively. The learning science skills of the students were honed by the learning activities provided by their teacher. However, data representation and knowledge presentation skills of the students need to be improved. Different pedagogical approaches should be considered in developing a learning activity to improve student engagement and achieve better learning experience.
