Cleptes auratus Linnaeus

Description

1. Cleptes auratus Linnaeus

Kawall (1866b: 155) reported this taxon as “ Cleptes auratus L.” from Livonia, Puze (“Livland, Pussen”, currently Latvia). The meaning of the name is uncertain, but probably it was meant to be Cleptes semiauratus (Linnaeus, 1761).
