Description
Eapen, professor of nuclear engineering, was a presenter in the second lightening round session during the symposium, discussed nuclear energy in the 21st century and a new course being offered in spring 2022 focused on nuclear energy. Eapen described the state of current reactors and the amount of energy they are generating, and the direction of current investments and interests in promoting advanced technologies, such as small modular reactors (SMRs).
